Cowan Creek Mountain Music School Summer 2023

Based in a small Appalachian community just outside Whitesburg, Kentucky, for the 22nd year our summer school brings together some of our country’s finest old time musicians and students of all levels and ages for a week of learning and fun. Our emphasis is on offering old time music and songs from the Kentucky repertoire, taught by musicians who are the heart of our music community.
Tuition for Kentucky students is $250 and $350 for out-of-state students and includes a morning class, plus access to all workshops, jams, concerts, lunch and other activities during the week.
Kids on the Creek, a hands on music and arts class for 5 to 10 year olds is $250 and all Kentucky kids are provided full scholarships.
Full scholarships are available for all student 11 and up.
